Barcelona are all set to host Inter Milan in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League 2024-25 semi-final. Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium is ready for an intense UCL clash between Barca and Inter.
FC Barcelona are coming in after defeating Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final. Hansi Flick’s men dominated the first leg but faced a defeat in the second leg. Blaugrana won 4-0 at home, then lost the second leg by 1-3.
The first leg is yet again to be played at their home. Barca will be looking to gain the advantage here. Their attacking front is in great form. They are coming in after defeating Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.
Inter Milan took down the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the quarter-final stage of the UCL. They are going to face an in-form LaLiga giant. The Serie A side are going to have a tough competition against Barca, and they will be under pressure away from home.
Internazionale have not seen positives in any of their last three games across all competitions. Alejandro Balde, Marc Bernal and Marc Cesado are injured and will miss out for Barcelona. Robert Lewandowski’s availability depends on his match fitness.
Inter Milan will be without the services of Benjamin Pavard and Valentin Carboni as they are injured. Marcus Thuram might miss out as he is not fully match fit.
